'The Likes Of Us'19th -23rd May at The Grange Theatre, Northwich. Fantastic Production - well received by audiences and well worth all the hard work. It was the Northwest Premier of the musical ‘The Likes of Us’, performed by Knutsford Amateur Operatic Society. The show is the first show ever written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. They first got together back in 1965 to create this show. It's a story based around the life of Dr Barnardo. The show did not take off at the time, but has now been revived, with new songs and new orchestration. It is being released first for Amateur Societies. A limited number of societies are being granted licence to perform the show. Knutsford are privileged to be one of those societies.
